Manager, ESG UK and EU Reporting & Compliance

b Overview /b p In this role you will lead UK/EU ESG reporting and regulatory compliance for Hikma, ensuring high-quality disclosures aligned with UK SRS, IFRS S1/S2, CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy. You will partner across Finance, Legal, Compliance and operational functions to strengthen ESG governance and data quality, while embedding sustainability considerations into decision-making. The role offers impact on transparency, stakeholder confidence and long-term value creation in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This is a cross-functional, regulatory-facing position with a clear hook around shaping responsible sustainability governance at scale. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead the annual ESG and sustainability reporting for Hikma with emphasis on UK/EU requirements /li li Coordinate ESG data collection, validation and governance across sites, commercial operations and corporate functions /li li Ensure disclosures comply with UK SRS, IFRS S1/S2, CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy and related frameworks /li li Support integration of sustainability disclosures into the Annual Report and Accounts /li li Manage external assurance activities with robust governance and audit readiness /li li Develop and implement new ESG reporting system, processes and internal controls /li li Monitor and interpret evolving UK/EU ESG legislation relevant to pharma /li li Lead horizon scanning and assess regulatory impact on operations and supply chain /li li Provide technical advice on SRS, IFRS, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD, climate, human rights due diligence /li li Collaborate with Legal, Compliance and Risk to embed regulatory obligations into policies and processes /li li Maintain ESG governance framework and report to executives and boards /li li Support internal/external audits and respond to ESG information requests /li li Drive cross-functional collaboration to improve supplier ESG data and due diligence /li li Advance ESG data management, digital reporting tools and continuous improvement culture /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant experience in ESG reporting, sustainability compliance or ESG regulatory affairs with UK/EU focus /li li Experience in a regulated industry, ideally pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, life sciences or medical devices /li li Strong knowledge of UK SRS, IFRS S1/S2, CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD /li li Experience with ESG reporting systems and data management platforms /li li Experience implementing regulatory change programs across multiple jurisdictions /li li Strong governance, risk management and internal controls understanding /li li Experience supporting external assurance and audits /li li Excellent stakeholder management, communication and project management /li li Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Law, Business or related discipline /li /ul ul li stakeholder management /li li communication /li li project management /li li UK SRS /li li IFRS S1/S2 /li li CSRD /li /ul
