We're looking for a purpose-driven Marketing Manager to help turn marketing strategy into clear, consistent and effective delivery. Reporting into the Managing Director, this role will own the day-to-day marketing plan, manage campaign delivery across key channels and help ensure activity is aligned to business goals, commercial objectives, targets and benchmarks. This is a hands-on management role for someone who can bring structure, energy and momentum to a growing marketing function. You'll manage the Marketing Executive, coordinate designers and specialist partners, oversee budgets and make sure marketing activity is delivered to a high standard.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Marketing planning and delivery: Own and manage the marketing plan across digital, traditional and event activity. Turn strategy into clear campaigns, timelines, actions and deliverables. Keep marketing activity organised, visible and moving at pace. Prioritise activity based on business goals, commercial opportunities and available resource. Work closely with the Head of Marketing to shape future plans, campaigns and priorities.
- Campaign and channel management: Oversee campaign delivery across digital, content, email, paid media, organic social, events and offline channels. Work with the Marketing Executive, designers and specialist partners to deliver activity effectively. Make sure campaigns are joined up, on brand and aligned to the wider marketing strategy. Support the creation of campaign messaging, content plans and channel briefs. Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys, lead generation and conversion.
- Digital, content and communications: Manage delivery across key digital channels, including website, email, social and paid media. Support the development of content across blogs, landing pages, emails, social posts, sales materials and campaigns. Review copy, creative and campaign assets to ensure quality and consistency. Help improve how marketing activity shows up across digital touchpoints. Use data and insight to improve performance over time.
- Events and offline marketing: Manage the marketing delivery of events, webinars, workshops and partner activity. Oversee event promotion, registration journeys, attendee communications and follow-up. Support offline activity, including print, direct mail, advertising and sales collateral where required. Ensure events and offline campaigns have clear objectives, audiences and measurable outcomes. Help turn event activity into relationships, pipeline and commercial opportunity.
- Budget, team and supplier management: Manage marketing budgets across campaigns, channels, events and suppliers. Track spend against plan and report clearly on budget usage. Manage and support the Marketing Executive. Brief and coordinate designers, freelancers, agencies and specialist partners. Set clear priorities, deadlines and expectations for everyone involved in delivery. Review work, provide feedback and help maintain a high standard of output.
- Performance and reporting: Work to clear targets, benchmarks and KPIs across marketing activity. Monitor performance across campaigns, digital channels, events and content. Produce clear, practical reporting on what is working, what needs improving and where opportunities exist. Use performance insight to improve campaign effectiveness and future planning. Connect marketing activity to outcomes such as leads, pipeline, conversion, engagement and revenue.
- Strategy support: Support the Head of Marketing with marketing, digital and wider business strategy. Bring ideas, insight and structure to the planning process. Help define audiences, propositions, campaign themes, channel priorities and messaging. Support go-to-market planning for new products, services or propositions. Help ensure marketing activity is aligned with wider business direction.
About you:
You'll likely have 5+ years' experience in a marketing role, with experience managing campaigns, budgets, suppliers and junior team members. Purpose-driven, proactive and motivated by making a meaningful impact. Experienced in managing marketing plans and campaign delivery. Comfortable working to targets, benchmarks and KPIs. Confident across digital, content, events and broader marketing channels. Organised, calm and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable managing budgets, timelines and suppliers. A strong team leader who can guide, support and motivate others. Data-aware and confident using insight to improve activity. A clear communicator who can work across teams, partners and stakeholders. Strategic enough to help shape plans, but hands-on enough to deliver them. Curious, energetic and happy to get stuck in when needed.
Useful experience: Experience in any of the following would be valuable: Commercial marketing roles with clear targets and benchmarks. Campaign planning and multi-channel delivery. Managing budgets, suppliers and junior team members. Digital marketing across paid, email, social, content and web. Event marketing and post-event follow-up. CRM, marketing automation and lead generation. Reporting tools such as GA4, Google Data Studio or similar. Digital agency, B2B, SaaS or technology marketing experience.
You don't need to tick every box. We're looking for someone with strong marketing experience, leadership ability, commercial understanding and the confidence to help turn strategy into effective delivery.
Benefits: Alongside a salary of up to £50,000, we offer: 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays. Flexible working. MacBook provided. Perkbox membership. Competitive pension scheme. Bonus scheme after probation. Regular social events and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
