The Role
We are seeking experienced OOW Deck Officers to join our team on the West Coast. This is a hands‑on operational role supporting the Master in the safe navigation, operation, and management of our harvest vessel to ensure efficient, compliant, and high‑quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Master with the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.
- Stand navigational and operational watches in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and fish welfare standards at all times.
- Support and work effectively with a small crew of 4–5.
- Assist in overseeing daily vessel activities including deck operations and crew coordination.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and operational reports as required.
- Uphold all relevant maritime regulations, company procedures, and SMS requirements.
