The Estate Kilchoan Estate is a cultural and educational enterprise dedicated to restoration, education, and spirituality. Spanning 1,500 acres, we are actively restoring habitats, developing gardens, and caring for heritage breed livestock.

The estate comprises multiple properties across the site, ranging from the owners’ private residences to a newly developed cabin complex designed to accommodate research students, artist residencies, and visiting guests. Our team currently consists of twenty full-time employees working across a variety of departments, including gardens, estate operations, buildings and maintenance, administration, and housekeeping.

The primary focus of the role will be the cleaning and upkeep of estate properties. Catering will be required for several weeks of the year when the owner and guests are in residence. The role is based on 40 hours per week. Flexibility is essential during periods when the owner is in residence.

  • Housekeeping
    • Deliver high-quality housekeeping across all estate properties under the direction of the Head Housekeeper
    • Prepare and change over guest accommodation
    • Operate laundry facilities
  • Catering
    • Provide catering for the owner and guests
    • Plan menus, manage budgets, and source ingredients
    • Prepare, cook, and serve meals
    • Experience catering for groups of up to 10 people is desirable
