ABACUS SERVICES is recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join our Payroll Bureau in Oban. You will work as part of the team in processing and administrating multiple payrolls across different industries. As a full time Payroll Assistant, you’ll be a key member of a small, friendly team. Your priority will be assisting the team in efficient payroll processing with administrative support.

Role includes:

  • Processing and completion of end-to-end payroll support for multiple businesses
  • Complete payroll calculations, HMRC submissions and pension updates
  • Assisting in year procedures and submissions
  • Process payroll deductions, produce E-payslips and run BACS payments
  • Maintain and update payroll system data for starters, leavers, amendments, holidays and absences
  • Use Excel confidently and integrated databases to support reporting and reconciliations
  • Liaise with team to resolve payroll queries in a clear and approachable manner
  • Support day-to-day administration of the business with any associated general tasks
