The Holly Tree Hotel & Swimming Pool has twenty hotel bedrooms and fifteen self-catering holiday properties and is situated beside the sea in Kentallen, near Glencoe, 20 minutes from Fort William and 40 minutes from Oban. We are currently looking for a Maintenance & Hot Tub Assistant to come and join our amazing team. Full training will be given.
Working as part of a team, you will ensure our hot tub facilities are sparkling clean and safely operating for our guests to enjoy. You will also help with general maintenance around our hotel and self-catering properties. Previous experience maintaining properties with skills such as painting would be helpful but not essential as full training will be given.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for a well-presented and courteous Maintenance and Hot Tub Assistant with a ‘can-do attitude’. While experience might be beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be given. You will be happy to work both on your own and as part of a team. Must also enjoy working outdoors and in all weathers!
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Changing over water and cleaning of hot tubs for each new arrival.
- Ensuring chemicals are at a safe level at all times.
- Respond to and complete maintenance requests from guests on site.
- Assist with renovation projects and help with planned daily maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring our decking and outdoor spaces are nice and clean for all our guests.
Our Maintenance team work from 9am-5pm every day and this post involves working 5 days per week, to include weekends. We can be fairly flexible with start and finish times and would also consider part-time applicants too. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity. We offer a great hourly rate and you also get complimentary use of our fantastic swimming pool and hot tub when not working!
