We are looking for someone practical and reliable who is comfortable working outdoors in a rural setting and able to turn their hand to a range of estate, grounds, property and general farm maintenance duties.

Based in Knapdale (30 minutes drive from Lochgilphead and Tarbert), the Kilberry Estate is seeking a practical, reliable and hard-working General Work Hand for a varied hands-on outdoor role. This is an ideal position for someone who is practical, adaptable and happy working outdoors.

Responsibilities
  • General groundskeeping and outdoor maintenance (grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, clearing paths)
  • Land management and estate upkeep (track repairs, drainage, weed control, boundary maintenance)
  • Property maintenance and basic repair work (cleaning gutters, painting, minor repairs, general DIY)
  • General estate and farm maintenance (yard work, moving materials, assisting with day-to-day farm jobs)
  • Fencing, clearing, tidying and other practical outdoor jobs (fence repairs, chopping wood, clearing debris, seasonal work)
  • Using tools, equipment and small machinery (power tools, trailers, tractors, diggers)
  • General day-to-day support around the estate (helping with practical jobs wherever needed)
