Fundraising Support Officer

As Fundraising Support Officer you will be the backbone of our fundraising team, ensuring that proposals, reports and donor stewardship are delivered to the highest standard, while keeping our systems accurate, communications timely, and processes efficient. You’ll help unlock vital income from corporates, trusts, foundations and major donors that makes rewilding at scale possible.

What you will do in a typical day:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date fundraising data in our CRM, producing reports for the team and senior management.
• Co-ordinate the proposal and reporting timetable, ensuring deadlines, acknowledgements and stewardship actions are never missed.
• Draft clear and compelling first-draft funding proposals and impact reports based on input from field, finance and senior teams.
• Support income and budget tracking, raising purchase orders, coding invoices and ensuring alignment between finance and CRM systems.
• Assist with donor stewardship, including personalised thank-you letters, certificates, updates and day-to-day partner communications.
• Provide event support, compiling guest lists, sending invitations, managing RSVPs and producing briefing materials.
• Research and prepare prospect profiles on potential funders and corporate partners.
• Champion best practice in data protection, Gift Aid and fundraising regulation, while suggesting improvements to systems and supporter journeys.
