R&R Corrosion are seeking a motivated individual to join our team and support our Senior Corrosion Engineers with corrosion control systems across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills and qualifications in a specialist field while working on varied projects within the Oil, Gas, Utilities, and Construction sectors.

The Trainee Corrosion Technician will support Senior Corrosion Engineers in all aspects of corrosion prevention and control. This role offers hands-on experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of corrosion control systems across the Oil, Gas, Utilities, and Construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in field activities, including surveys, inspections, and monitoring of corrosion protection systems.
  • Gain practical experience in the installation and maintenance of cathodic protection and other corrosion control technologies.
  • Conduct walking surveys across varied terrains and environments throughout the UK.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions at diverse sites, terminals, and facilities.
  • Collect and record field data accurately and assist in preparing detailed technical reports.
  • Support office-based tasks, including data entry, report writing, and analysis.
  • Maintain and organise workshop areas, vehicles, and equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.

All necessary PPE, tools, and equipment provided.
