We are looking for a motivated and people-focused Development Officer to join our team and support the growth of our organisation. We would happily consider people new to the industry who are wanting to be trained or people who have had experience in this role before. This is a role that combines light administrative support with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships across the local community. You’ll play a key part in helping us strengthen partnerships, grow our presence, and generate income to support our work. If you are new to the industry, we are happy to support your learning and will train you in this role if you are the right candidate. What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting day-to-day admin tasks to keep the organisation running smoothly
- Supporting the creation and successful implementation of events
- Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and organisations
- Identifying opportunities for partnerships that support income generation or raise awareness of our work
- Creating partnerships across Lochaber to enable us to expand our work portfolio
- Representing the organisation in a professional and approachable way
- Supporting marketing and engagement activity where needed
- Assisting with funding applications and grant research (desirable, not essential)
