FLS mechanics work on a wide range of vehicles, machines and equipment (VME) - from cars, vans and 4x4s, to trailers, quads and even forest harvesters and forwarders. We also work in some unique environments: our modern workshops operate with the latest tools and equipment, including two and four post vehicle ramps, computer based diagnostic equipment and Milwaukie hand tools. Working on-site involves operating within the forest environment, from your own FLS mobile mechanics' van.
Sitting within a small established team of mechanics and support staff, this is a varied, fast paced role. Mechanics are fully supported and provided with all appropriate training and development .
The Mechanical Engineering Services (MES) team provide safe and economic repair and maintenance of all FLS vehicles, machinery and fleet equipment (VME). We cover the whole of Scotland, operating three workshop areas - North, South and Mid-Scotland.
We will support and provide training on the job including Level 3 EV, tree harvesting machinery, chainsaws and other machinery.
