The Site Accreditation SSO will serve as the on-site expertise for USG/DOD requirements pertaining to assessment, authorization, and continuous accreditation monitoring of US government systems, networks, and facilities.What You Will DoFully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity programs and policies.Support the Senior SSO in the execution of the overall organizational Information Assurance (IA) program, which includes but is not limited to the Communications Security (COMSEC), Emissions Security (EMSEC), and Computer Security (COMPUSEC) programs for regionally based Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).Conduct Assessment and Approval (A&A) functions for SCI, PMO, and collateral systems.Conduct periodic travel and site evaluations in support of A&A efforts. Where applicable address discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
