Role Overview: As a Property Inventory Specialist, you will be part of a team passionate about helping our loyal business customers succeed. Your main responsibility is to conduct property inventory assessments, report on decoration, functional, and cleaning conditions, escalate concerns, and confirm property states to foster strong landlord-tenant relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform property inventory reports (check-ins, check-outs, midterm inspections) with keen attention to detail to identify defects or discrepancies, review appliances, collect meter readings, and test basic functional items.
- Use our bespoke software and app solutions effectively to complete inspections.
- Escalate maintenance and cleanliness concerns promptly for reactive decision-making and to improve property and tenancy turnaround.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for queries, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Maintain professional relationships within the team and with clients, demonstrating a proactive and success-oriented attitude.
- Conduct property inspections across various London sites (E15, SE1, SE13), requiring access to a car or reliable public transport.
- Prioritize precision, independence, and operational excellence.
- Follow company standards and guidance, demonstrating diplomatic, problem-solving, and resourceful skills.
Candidate Requirements:
- Availability for a flexible, self-employed schedule, including most Saturdays, start/end of month, public holidays, with a minimum commitment of 4 days per week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and accurate descriptions.
- Proficiency with smartphones or tablets and digital tools.
- An observer mindset understanding nuances among involved parties.
- Good physical endurance for largely independent work.
- Confidence in working autonomously with ongoing support and mentoring.
- Ability to provide a recent basic DBS check.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in property inventories or surveying environments.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is advantageous.

Compensation:
Starting from Β£30 per property inspection, paid on a completed inspection basis. Income potential increases with higher productivity, especially during peak months (May-October). The role is self-employed, responsible for taxes and expenses, with guidance provided. Performance bonuses are available, with monthly payments.
