The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, imaginative, and pro‑active person with past theatre lighting or sound technical experience to join us and support performances and presentations across the school. This role includes responsibility for sound and lighting (design, rigging, programming and execution) for school and visiting performances.

Flexible working hours will be a requirement to facilitate rehearsals and events beyond the school day plus attending planned evening performances and events during the year will be required. Supporting creativity within performing arts and developing opportunities of “tech” training for students will require good communication skills and passion.

Technical support for all performing arts practical exam work will be important. Additional valuable skills which would be desirable but not essential include set construction, video editing and familiarity with video recording or studio sound recording and music production, using “Logic”, or similar software.

The role includes responsibility for maintaining technical equipment, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment, acting as a first aider (training provided), and supporting other teams, such as the Facilities team, according to the School’s needs.
