Highwood Care Home is a brand new, purpose-built facility nestled in the picturesque and historic port town of Bideford. Our luxury care home offers a warm and welcoming environment for up to 67 residents, providing Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care. With state-of-the-art facilities and beautifully designed spaces, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment where residents can feel truly at home. £12.71 per hour

Contracted to 16 hours per week

Paid DBS pension, uniform provided

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person‑centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one‑to‑one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia. Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
