Devon County Council (DCC) is looking for an inspirational individual to lead and direct the Neighbourhood Highway Teams across the Western, Teignbridge and South Hams area. This pivotal role within our Highways and Traffic Management service is an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of critical services that directly impact communities and the travelling public.

The successful applicant will bring clarity of vision, a strong professional commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to empower others. A key part of the role is liaising with elected members and their communities (e.g. via Town and Parish Councils etc.) to drive collaboration across teams and partners, ensuring that we deliver a safe, efficient, and sustainable highway network.

The postholder will be required to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the relevant DCC office.
