This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contracts Manager in Highview Group's Roofing and Projects Division, located in Southend-On-Sea. The Contracts Manager will oversee the planning, management, and execution of contracted roofing and external projects. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Managing budgets and timelines
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Ensuring quality standards are met throughout all phases of project execution
Qualifications:
- Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Experience in managing contracts within the roofing and construction sectors
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to construction and roofing
- Proficiency in tools such as project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work within deadlines and ensure high-quality standards
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management, engineering, or similar fields are preferred
- Familiarity with roofing systems, cladding, and externals work is a significant advantage
