Waking Night Project Worker

We currently have an opportunity for a Waking Night Project Worker at our scheme, Litslade Farm, a registered care home in Newton Longville, where we support adults with learning disabilities to live independently.

Base pay range

£23,532 per annum for a 35-hour per week contract

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Communicating effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Promoting independence and respecting the wishes of the people we support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly while ensuring the safety of the property.
  • Offering emotional support as needed.
  • Responding to and documenting any crisis events that may occur during the night.
  • Administering medication if required and completing household tasks.
  • Providing personal care support during the night when required, ensuring the dignity, safety, and well-being of the people we support.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different needs.
  • A team-focused mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • A commitment to delivering excellent care and support.
  • An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential – we provide full training.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle is required.

We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
