We currently have an opportunity for a Waking Night Project Worker at our scheme, Grove Garden Flats, in High Wycombe, which focuses on providing supported living for individuals with learning disabilities. The property comprises six one‑bedroom flats and eight studio flats, home to 14 residents aged 24‑55 who attend a range of day services and community opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Communicating effectively using various methods tailored to individual needs.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
  • Promoting independence and respecting the wishes of the people we support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns promptly whilst ensuring the safety of the property.
  • Offering emotional support as needed.
  • Responding to and documenting any crisis events that may occur during the night.
  • Administering medication if required and completing household tasks.
  • Providing personal care support during the night when required, ensuring residents’ dignity, safety and well‑being are upheld.

  • A commitment to delivering excellent care and support.
  • An understanding of equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles.
  • Previous experience is helpful but not essential—we provide full training.

Benefits:

  • Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year (pro rata), including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service.
  • £18,153 per annum for a 27‑hour per week contract.
