We are looking for a reliable and committed Waking Night Project Worker to join our team at Martin House, supporting adults who have experienced homelessness. This is a vital overnight role where you will provide a calm, compassionate presence while ensuring the service remains safe, secure and welcoming for everyone. You will support residents in a way that builds confidence and independence, respects individual choices, and helps people feel included and valued. Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to a supportive team culture and respond calmly to situations as they arise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide overnight support to residents, promoting safety, wellbeing and independence.
- Offer reassurance, guidance and emotional support with empathy and respect.
- Respond confidently and calmly to incidents, emergencies or crises.
- Communicate effectively in ways that meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
- Administer medication where required.
- Maintain accurate records and report concerns promptly.
- Ensure the safety and security of the building throughout the night.
