We have an opportunity for a Waking Night Project Worker at Litslade Farm, our registered care home in Newton Longville. We empower adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible, and we are looking for someone who can provide calm, reliable support throughout the night.

Location: Newton Longville

Salary: £23,532 per annum for a 35-hour contract

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support vulnerable adults during night hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Communicate effectively using methods tailored to individual needs
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
  • Promote independence and respect the wishes of the people we support
  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns promptly
  • Respond to and document any crisis events that may occur during the night
  • Administer medication if required and complete household tasks
  • Provide personal care when needed, ensuring respect, dignity and safety are upheld
  • Offer emotional support as required

You will be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and compassion, creating a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

You Will Also Need To:

  • Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs
  • Work well as part of a team and independently
  • Be flexible and able to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Understand equality, diversity, and safeguarding principles
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work

Previous experience is helpful but not essential, as we provide full training. We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
