ccha is a high quality, proactive and passionate community‑based housing association, owning and managing over 1,500 homes across four London boroughs – Croydon, Bromley, Merton and Sutton. We aim to build more social housing properties for the benefit of our communities, and we have a development company that undertakes for‑profit sales to help us achieve this. We employ a committed team of 65 staff who provide specialist money and welfare advice, digital inclusion and employment programmes to improve the lives of our residents.

We are seeking two Independent Committee Members to join our Development and Assets and Audit and Risk Committees, helping to maintain a balanced mix of skills and experience across our Board and Committees as existing members approach the end of their tenure. Candidates may come from a range of employment sectors but should bring a commitment to solving the housing crisis in the communities we serve, to make a real contribution to ccha and to live up to our vision of Delivering on our Promises and CARE values. We are particularly interested in people with backgrounds in residential development, assets, commercial, community services (customer perspective) and risk and assurance.

Diversity and Inclusion is important to us; we welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Our meetings are a blend of virtual and in‑person. Successful appointees must be based close enough to attend at least five in‑person meetings per year at our Croydon office.

For an informal discussion, please contact Sue Manning, Director, Forest HR.
