We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly team at Lord Alexander House, a supported living service in the heart of Hemel Hempstead. This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week) where you’ll help individuals with mental health needs live independently in their own purpose‑built flats.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to individuals in their own homes
- Encourage life‑skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, and cleaning
- Follow personalised support plans and risk assessments

About You

Additional Duties
- Work shifts as part of a rota system, which will include weekend and bank holiday working
- Perform at least one sleep‑in per week (allowance of £52.78 paid)
- Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support
- Be flexible in your approach to work and demonstrate resilience in a challenging, but rewarding environment

Required Provisions
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to do sleep‑ins (minimum one per week)
- Satisfactory right‑to‑work, enhanced DBS, reference, and medical checks.
