Are you motivated by creating fairness, strengthening trust and helping people feel heard? We are looking for a Specialist Case Investigator to lead disciplinary and grievance investigations within our Care & Supported Housing directorate.

In this role, you will take the lead on complex and sensitive cases, bringing clarity, sound judgement and a calm, supportive approach. You will uncover the facts, provide clear evidence-based recommendations and help ensure colleagues and residents experience safe, high‑quality services. Your work will contribute to a culture where people feel empowered to speak up, treated with dignity, and confident that concerns are explored thoroughly and fairly.

You will manage the full investigation process from planning and evidence gathering, to interviews, analysis and report writing while maintaining respectful, inclusive communication with everyone involved. You will handle difficult conversations with compassion and professionalism, supporting individuals through what can often be challenging circumstances.

Beyond your own caseload, you will play a key role in strengthening how we investigate across the directorate: refining tools and guidance, sharing learning, collaborating with teams, and helping embed consistent, high‑quality standards. Your insight will support service improvement and promote a culture of openness and continuous learning.

We are looking for someone analytical, resilient and objective, with strong ER investigation experience in a complex environment. You will understand employment legislation, be able to navigate sensitive information confidently, and translate complex findings into clear, meaningful recommendations. Experience in health, care or multi‑agency settings would be a bonus.
