We currently have a full-time (37.5 hours) Assistant Support Worker position at our supported housing scheme, Seabrook Court, in Aylesbury. Seabrook Court is a supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, offering 20 individual flats with a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom for comfortable and private living. We provide 24‑hour care, working various shifts to ensure continuous support.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way
  • Aiding with the daily administration of medication
  • Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting
  • Organising trips to local amenities
  • Promoting independence and helping residents achieve their personal goals
  • Following tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing
  • Providing appropriate support to individuals who are living in their own homes or in a supported housing setting to enable them to support their aspirations and maximise their independence
  • Building long‑lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you
