Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Assistant Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Napier Close, a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities in Hitchin.

Napier Close is a purpose‑built block of 15 supported living, self‑contained 1‑bedroom flats with a lounge, kitchen and wet room/walk‑in shower. There is an office with a communal lounge and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Aid with the daily administration of medication
• Encourage life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and budgeting
• Organise trips to local amenities
• Promote independence and help residents achieve their personal goals
• Follow tailored support plans and risk assessments to ensure safety and wellbeing

Shifts

• 3pm – 11pm + sleep‑in (11pm – 8am) + 8am – 4pm
• 10am – 6pm
• 11am – 7pm
