Support Worker – Mably House We currently have an opportunity for a full-time support worker (37.5 hours) to join our homeless supported living service, at Mably House, in Hatfield. Mably House provides supported housing for 35 residents. Mably house consists of 35 self-contained units, and each resident has their own self-contained flat with the support of staff from Monday to Friday. The aim is to provide personalised one to one support for a period of up to 24 months, with the goal of helping each resident move on successfully into independent accommodation. As a support worker, you will support worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. As part your role, you will: Develop and review personal support plans and risk assessments. Promote independence through life skills. Complete and update PEEP (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans) forms. Hold weekly sessions to monitor progress. Assist with benefit applications and financial management. Manage tenancies and conduct welfare checks. Signpost to partner agencies for additional support. Complete A&I reports and raise safeguarding concerns. Engage service users in activities and ensure document compliance with GDPR. Sign up new service users and perform other support worker duties as needed. Review support plans and complete move-on referrals.
