Support Worker – Westcroft (£25,857pa) Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Wecurrently have an opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours per week) Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Westcroft, in Tring. Westcroft is a supported living service for individuals with learning disabilities across three main buildings and several community-based homes. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team in empowering people to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and with dignity. As part of the role, you will: Assess needs and develop personalised support plans Promote independence through life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting Provide personal care with sensitivity and respect Follow and contribute to risk assessments and management plans Induct and assist in the mentoring of new staff Support aspirations and help individuals achieve their goalsYou will be part of a friendly, supportive team that values collaboration and compassion. About you: We are looking for someone with experience in the care or support sector, who brings a can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others thrive. You will also need to: Communicate effectively and adapt to different needs and preferences Be flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays Work well as part of a team and independently Be committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred care Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for workIt is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a vehicle for work purposes and are happy to do sleep-ins. (an allowance for £52.78 per sleep in is paid) We will support your development with a structured induction, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to gain an accredited vocational qualification.
