Support Worker – Warren Court (£25,857pa) Make a Real Difference Every Day – Join Our Team at Warren Court! Are you passionate about helping others live their best lives? We’re excited to offera full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) for a Support Worker at our vibrant supported living service, Warren Court, in Cheshunt. Warren Court blends supported living with helping residents create their own home, within a safe environment. We specialise in caring for people with needs that can be complex such as learning disabilities and mental health illnesses. In addition to the support we provide at Warren Court in Cheshunt, we also provide support to adults who live in social housing in the community and to 4 flats in Hoddesdon that is above our sister scheme. As part of a supportive team, you will: Provide tailored support to individuals in their own homes Encourage life skills such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, and cleaning Assist with administering medication Draft personalised support plans and risk assessments Empower people to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives Need to have a full UK drivers’ licence. Use of a car for work purposes during shift.About You We’re looking for people who are: Caring, reliable, and proactive, with a genuine desire to help others Able to communicate effectively and adapt to different needs Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays Committed to equality, diversity, and person-centred support Experienced in a similar roleAdditionally, you will also be able to: Work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working Perform at least one sleep in per week as part of your shift (allowance of £52.78 paid) Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support Be flexible in your approach to work and demonstrate resilience in a challenging, but rewarding environment Have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting people with learning disabilitiesIt is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are happy to do sleep-ins (minimum one per week).
