Hightown offers a trauma-informed, safe environment that is person-centred and supports homeless individuals to access the help they need. This could include support to find accommodation, claim benefits, counselling or signposting to specialist agencies for support with things like drug and alcohol addictions.
We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager who will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of our services and ensuring personalised, flexible and good quality services are delivered. The role is currently covering 5 adult homelessness services across St Albans, Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury.
What We're Looking For:
- Leadership Excellence: First-class leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire your team.
- Experience: Previous experience of providing advice, guidance and support to homeless individuals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with a wide group of individuals.
As a Service Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage a dedicated team, providing support and advice.
- Oversee the service rota, ensuring full and consistent cover of all shifts, including weekends when necessary.
- Handle recruitment and induction of new staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
