As our Senior Surveyor, you will head up the Healthy Homes Team, driving excellence in property maintenance, tackling damp and mould issues, and delivering major works that transform homes and lives.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading a team of six surveyors and operatives to deliver high-quality inspections and remedial works in line with Awaab’s Law.
- Overseeing our Stock Condition Survey programme, ensuring accurate asset data and compliance with housing standards.
- Managing major works projects such as roof replacements and component upgrades.
- Providing expert technical advice on building defects, disrepair cases, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating across departments to deliver a seamless, customer-focused service.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in surveying, asset management, or property maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent knowledge of housing regulations, building safety, and disrepair legislation.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for improving homes and services.
What You Will Need
- Must hold RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of operating Awaab's Law.
- Relevant and up-to-date knowledge of building construction, surveying, and building regulations.
- Housing Health and Safety Rating qualified inspector.
