Scheme Manager – Young People\’s Housing Service Watford Full time (37.5 hours) – £33,054 per annum Empowering Young Lives in a Supportive Environment Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Hightown Housing Association is seeking a compassionate and proactiveScheme Manager to lead two supported housing services for young people aged 16-24 in Watford. Our services are designed to provide safe, welcoming environments that foster resilience, independence, and positive change for young people. Key Responsibilities: Empowerment and Support: Lead a team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support tailored to individual needs. Team Leadership: Manage Youth Support Workers and Night Supervisors, overseeing recruitment, induction, supervision, and development. Operational Management: Coordinate rotas, manage budgets, ensure health & safety compliance, and maintain service quality. Collaboration: Work closely with external agencies, families, and professionals to support young people’s aspirations and wellbeing. Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies, fire safety, and GDPR regulations.What We’re Looking For: Experience supporting young people with complex needs, including trauma, youth violence, exploitation, and substance misuse. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and professional boundaries. Ability to manage challenging behaviour and promote independence. Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
