Are you ready for a role that truly changes lives? This is not traditional support work; it’s about compassion, creativity, persistence, and thinking outside the box. As a Housing First Co-ordinator, you will lead the delivery of our Housing First programme, ensuring individuals with complex needs are supported to maintain tenancies and empower their quality of life.

This is a key role where you will coordinate multi-agency support, embed Housing First principles in everyday practice, and work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated team while also being confident in lone working when required.

You will make sure people get the right support, in the right place, at the right time.

What Makes This Role Unique?

  • You will work with people who have faced trauma and where traditional support methods have failed.
  • In Housing First, “non-engagement” doesn’t exist; we ask, what haven’t you tried yet? What else could you do?
  • Success isn’t about big wins; it’s about small steps that add up to life-changing progress.
  • You will have a small caseload (up to 7 clients) because the support is intense and every day is different.

What We Are Looking For

  • Resilient, resourceful, and ready to face challenges head-on.
  • Strong boundaries and a commitment to reflective practice.
  • A flexible, can-do attitude with creativity at the heart of everything you do.
  • Valuable life experience that equips you with the skills and strength to succeed, regardless of whether your background is in policing, social work, or another field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate support for individuals with complex needs transitioning into and maintaining housing.
  • Work collaboratively with partners including health, social care, substance use services, and housing providers.
  • Uphold Housing First principles: choice, harm reduction, and person-centred support.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes to ensure effective interventions.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to support staff or peer mentors.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting in line with organisational and funder requirements.

The Benefits

  • Generous annual leave allowance of 33 days per year, including statutory bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service.
  • ÂŁ32,292 pa for a 37.5 hour a week contract.
  • Annual bonus based on satisfactory performance.
  • Monthly attendance bonus on top of your basic salary.
  • Commitment to health and wellbeing with the Five Ways to Wellbeing.
  • Enjoy opportunities for professional development, including support for qualifications.
  • Discounts and Savings with High Street and online retailers.
  • Workplace pension scheme and life assurance of three times your annual salary.
  • Employee assistance helpline.

We review applications and interview on a rolling basis, so apply early to avoid missing out.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory right-to-work checks, enhanced DBS, references and medical clearance.
