Position: Assistant Support Worker Location: Chesham, Buckinghamshire Salary: £25,506 per annum Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Are you passionate about making a real difference? Join our friendly team at Waterside, a shared supported living home for five adults aged 43-63. Each person has their own en-suite room, and we work together to create an inclusive, respectful environment where people feel valued, supported and empowered to live as independently as possible. The Role As an Assistant Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support by: Assisting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way Encouraging life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting Promoting independence and helping people achieve their personal goals Following individual support plans and risk assessments Building positive, trusting relationships through collaborative workingHoist training is required, with full support provided to refresh or gain this skill if needed. Shifts & Rota You will work a two-week rolling rota: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, FridayYou must be able to work every other weekend and complete one sleep-in per week (Sleep-ins are paid at an enhanced flat rate of £52.78 per sleep-in). About You You are caring, reliable and motivated, with a compassionate approach and a commitment to working respectfully and collaboratively. A full UK driving licence is essential.
