Nursery Class Teacher

The children, staff and Governing Board are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher (M1-M6) with a passion for early years education to join our dedicated team of staff. The post is part-time with the allocated days being Wednesday to Friday.

• Can demonstrate excellent pedagogical knowledge of the EYFS and the Teacher Standards.
• Is committed to engaging and inspiring our children, has high expectations and the ability to make a real difference - building on what children already know and can do.
• Make a positive impact.
• Shows flexibility, commitment and excellent interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively as a valued member of the school team.
• Is a fantastic role model to the team of experienced Teaching Assistants and leads learning and the team in the Nursery classroom.
• Is dynamic in their ability to nurture, inspire and challenge all pupils to grow in confidence and make exceptional progress.
• Will celebrate the uniqueness of every child and our inclusive ethos.
• Provides a positive learning environment that stimulates creativity, curiosity, investigation, reasoning and problem-solving.
• Provides an environment that respect the rights of the child.
• Has high expectations of yourself, our staff and our children.
• Has an understanding of the importance of working in partnership with parents.
• Ensures that the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures are followed at all times.
