Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, multi-million-pound construction projects while becoming part of a business known for quality delivery, long-term project pipelines and investment in its people.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will take full commercial responsibility for major projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring strong financial performance while maintaining excellent client and subcontractor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of large-scale construction projects.
- Prepare, manage and negotiate subcontract packages.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts and cash flow.
- Prepare and submit valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with site and project management teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure contractual compliance and accurate commercial reporting.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience working with a main contractor on large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and deliver strong financial outcomes.
- Full right to work in the UK or eligibility to obtain the necessary permissions.
