Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsible for writing & implementing annual marketing plan which aligns the UK and HO business strategy.
- Managing the UK Marketing Budget and ensuring effective delivery of the marketing plan including monitoring ROI.
- B2C & B2B promotional activities with aim of developing sales and brand awareness in key markets.
- Manage relationships with 2-3 key marketing agencies supporting B2B and B2C activity.
- Regular liaison with HO marketing function in Germany
- Plan and deliver participation at national and international conferences and exhibitions.
- Support Bid & Tender process.
- Co-ordinate production of all B2C advertising – online & print.
- On an as required basis to co-ordinate, track & register sponsorship payments with the ABPI
- With support from colleagues ensure the UK office is aware of & adheres to compliance standards relevant to the pharma/medical device industries.
- Oversee UK website and ensure relevant content is maintained and updated.
- Ensure digital agency delivery for Google Ads, Meta Ads & Amazon Ads to maximise traffic to UK webshop & UK Amazon listings
- Proof translated documents to ensure good standard of Plain English to their respective audiences.
- Competitor analysis for key products..
- Support relationships with partners and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate and share workload effectively with job share marketing manager.
- As part of the Senior Leadership Team, actively participate Marketing & Sales meetings and Monthly Operations Team Meetings
Marketing Manager Qualities
- Level 4 CIM or equivalent Marketing Qualification
- Experience of medical device or pharma industry highly desirable
- Strong B2C and B2B marketing experience (Digital and offline).
- ABPI qualification or willingness to take qualification within 12 months of joining
- IT knowledge e. g. Microsoft Office (essential), SAP, databases, Shopify
- Amazon Vendor or Seller experience
- Proven content writing and editing experience.
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong team player who has the flexibility and ability to work in a small UK operation (12 people) and support tasks outside of marketing.
- Must be able to work in the office (occasional flexibility possible)
