Operations Controllers are responsible for:
- Liaising with clients and agreeing scope of works.
- Preparing complex quotes which requires attention to detail and an aptitude for working with different systems.
- Following up outstanding quotes/requests daily.
- Maintaining contact with the client throughout service delivery.
- Scheduling and re-scheduling workforce requirements on a daily basis across 5 locations including Farnborough Airport.
- Developing strong relationships with new and existing customers through efficient delivery of high level of services.
Operations Controller experience and attributes:
- Strong administration skills (quoting/pricing/sales admin) (essential)
- Confident communication and decision making skills (essential)
- Solid attention to detail (essential)
- Proactive attitude and ability to think on your feet (essential)
- Experience in a workforce planning/scheduling role (beneficial)
- Experience working within aviation with an understanding of operations, workforce planning and flight schedules (beneficial not essential)
- The ability to work on a shift pattern (4 on/4 off) (essential)
- The ability to work under pressure in a time critical and changing environment (essential)
- Highly proficient in using Word, Excel, Outlook (essential)
