Media Centre Assistant – Digital required to provide marketing & communications support and general assistance in the Media Centre at FIA 2026 for a three-week period. Required: 6th July – 24th July.
- 6th – 10th July - 7.5 hours per day
- 13th – 19th July (includes Saturday & Sunday) – 7.5 hours per day
- 20th – 24th July – 8.5 hours per day
This role requires initiative, flexibility and common sense. There are five main elements:
- Providing general communications support
- Management of website and mobile app content
- Supporting delivery of the digital comms plan during the event
- Cataloguing photography
- General ‘runner’ duties
Candidates need to be well-presented, confident and articulate. The key functions for the Assistant are:
- Updating website and mobile app content
- Reviewing digital content and updates for accuracy
- Assisting the marketing team to deliver key communications across the show
- Gathering newsworthy stories for publishing to general media and through social media
- Cataloguing and tagging photography
- Reviewing photography against briefs to identify content gaps
- General assistance on the media centre Reception desk
- General assistance within the media centre facility
- General support to the FIL and ADS Communications team
The Assistant should have the following skills and experience:
- Experience or a strong interest in digital media desirable
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Confident in daily liaison with media personnel, picture desks etc
