Fantastic opportunity to work for an international organisation for an individual with HR Administration experience or a genuine desire to develop a career. The HR Administrator supports the People Team (3 people) by effectively managing administration and coordination across the employee lifecycle, including responsibility for monthly payroll processing (training provided if required). The position requires flexibility, good administration skills and an enthusiastic and dynamic approach to delivery of a wide variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Manage administration for new starters, onboarding, contract changes, and leavers
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation, and ensure timely and accurate processing of People-related updates
  • Support issuing of ID documentation
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll inputs for UK and Malta employees
  • Ensure accuracy of salary data, benefits, and deductions, and liaise with payroll providers and internal stakeholders
  • Support payroll reporting and reconciliation, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
  • Effective coordination with Finance and external payroll providers
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings and interview scheduling
  • Review candidate CVs and support shortlisting processes
  • Arrange simulator assessments, travel, and accommodation
  • Support onboarding coordination for new employees
  • Assist with minute-taking during interviews and formal meetings
  • Support internal communication and People initiatives
  • Maintain and contribute to People SharePoint pages
  • Promote company values across all activities
  • Support compliance with People policies and procedures
  • Ensure all activities align with company standards and legal requirements
  • Maintain a professional and confidential approach to all People matters

Qualities:

  • Strong written and spoken English
  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive approach
  • Payroll administration experience (UK and/or Malta), desirable
  • Recruitment support experience, desirable
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements, desirable
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. ADP), desirable
  • HR Administration or CIPD Level 3 qualification, desirable
