Overview
The successful candidate will assist in the support and inclusion of students with specific educational needs within the school.
Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) help meet the needs of students with SEN and support them to access the curriculum, both in group situations and individually, including use of BSL level 3, inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Support students with SEN to access the curriculum and participate in learning activities.
- Provide learning support in both group and one-to-one settings as required.
- Utilise BSL level 3 when assisting deaf or hard-of-hearing students as part of the support provided.
Qualifications
