About Highlands Harbor

Highlands Harbor is a new crisis stabilization program offering an overnight, non-hospital setting for individuals experiencing psychiatric or substance use crises, including detox. The facility has a capacity of 12 beds in a newly renovated building.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks based on consumers\’ dietary needs
• Assist with supervision of consumers and monitor safety, including periodic rounds
• Support daily needs and personal hygiene tasks
• Perform laundry and light cleaning
• Search belongings and assist with enrollment and discharge procedures

Position Details

Location: Abingdon, VA

Status: Part-time (20-29 hours), Non-Exempt

Shift: Thursday – Saturday, 1:00 am – 8:00 am (schedule flexibility required; days and times may change)

Compensation: $15.00/hour, with $16.00/hour shift differential, based on qualifications

Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, one-year related experience preferred
