Position Overview

Highlands Harbor is a new crisis stabilization program offering an overnight, non-hospital setting focused on individualized care for individuals experiencing psychiatric or substance use crises, including detox. The program has a capacity of 12 beds in a recently renovated facility.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare healthy meals and snacks based on consumers\’ dietary needs.
2. Assist with supervision of consumers and monitor safety through periodic rounds.
3. Support daily needs and personal hygiene tasks.
4. Perform laundry and light cleaning.
5. Search belongings and assist with enrollment and discharge processes.

Position Details

Location: Abingdon, VA

Status: Part-time (20-29 hours), Non-Exempt

Schedule: Day shift, Sunday – Tuesday, 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm (schedule flexibility required; days and times may change)

Compensation: $15.00/hour, commensurate with education and experience

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required; valid driver’s license required; one-year related experience preferred.
