You’ll need the ability to work under pressure, often to tight deadlines, whilst managing a finance team of six. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the post holder is responsible for ensuring HIAL’s finances are managed efficiently and in line with the required accounting standards and company procedures.

As a qualified accountant you will also bring relevant experience to the role. To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills and enjoy contributing to a professional working environment. It’s important that you have a flexible approach and attitude to your work and a strong commitment to customer service. Whilst the base for the role is Head Office (at Inverness Airport), and there will be a requirement to attend Head Office frequently, we have a flexible approach to working and can consider hybrid working for applicants based at any of our 11 airport locations.

In return for your professionalism and commitment we offer an excellent pay, generous annual leave entitlement, company pension and employee assistance programme. We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and aim to provide support to individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and their employment. In support of our commitment to the Gaelic language and culture, as demonstrated in our Gaelic Language Plan, we welcome applications from those with Gaelic language skills.
