Job Description

Looking for a role that is busy, varied and interesting? Are you an excellent communicator with colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels, enjoy creating reports, have strong analytical skills and efficient at taking notes at meeting?

We are looking for a Safety and Compliance Officer, who will support the co-ordination of safety development and aviation compliance activities in accordance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Working as part of the Safety & Compliance Team in a fast-paced environment, the primary responsibility of this role is to provide compliance activities related to Estates Strategy & Projects and Fire and Aerodrome Operations. The role supports the development of the HIAL Group Safety Management System (SMS) and the ongoing continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

The role requires active collaboration with team members and will support departmental administrational duties, the management of safety, compliance and assurance tasks. It will also monitor corrective actions, data analysis, risk management and compliance activities in accordance with the audit schedule. The right candidate should have the ability to remain focussed when undertaking repetitive tasks.

 

Knowledge of the airport operations would be beneficial. However, we welcome applications from candidates with experience in other industries or sectors. 

 

You will be joining a supportive and professional team with a strong safety and compliance ethos, that values continuous improvement.

 

This is a Head Office based role however we can consider applications to work on a hybrid basis, with the successful candidate based within daily travelling distance of any of our 11 airports. There will be some travel to our Head Office required.
