We are looking for a strategic and hands‐on Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of the UK Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) across our business. This is a unique opportunity to drive a transformative project that supports our commitment to environmental responsibility and a circular economy.

Your Role: Leading Change with Purpose

As the Senior Project Manager for the implementation of our DRS project, you will play a pivotal role in steering the end‐to‐end delivery across the Highland Spring Group. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Strategy & Planning, you will oversee coordination of cross‐functional workstreams—spanning packaging, operational readiness, finance, and commercial optimisation—to ensure seamless integration and progress at every stage.

You will establish and maintain robust governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks, and foster effective communication across stream leads. Regular updates to the Steering Group and Senior Management Team will keep everyone informed, engaged, and aligned. You will also support the wider Projects team by leading the delivery of smaller product development projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading the end‐to‐end delivery of the UK DRS project across the business
  • Coordinating cross‐functional workstreams and ensuring seamless integration
  • Establishing robust governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, including the UK DMO
  • Providing hands‐on support to overcome delivery challenges and drive results
  • Managing smaller product development projects alongside the core DRS programme

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi‐workstream projects—ideally in FMCG
  • A formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen

  • A pragmatic, hands‐on leader who thrives in fast‐paced, evolving environments
