Join Highland Spring’s Ochils engineering team and play a hands‑on role in keeping one of Scotland’s best‑known production environments running safely, efficiently and continuously improving. Highland Spring Group is looking for a skilled and motivated Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer (mechanically biased) to join our Engineering team at our Ochils site in Blackford. This role plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our production equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting mechanical systems across the site, helping to optimise performance, reduce downtime, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency. Working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering excellence and drive improvement initiatives.
What can you expect:
- Support production lines to achieve key performance targets including efficiency and reliability
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical components and systems
- Carry out fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Support planned maintenance and condition monitoring activities
- Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects
- Ensure compliance with GMP, health & safety, and engineering standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audit requirements
- Collaborate with operational teams to optimise equipment performance
- Provide support to other group sites when required
What we are looking for:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fault diagnosis
- Knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability improvement
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- A proactive and team‑oriented approach
- Full UK driving licence or ability to commute in line with shift patterns
This position is working rotational day and night shifts 4 on, 4 off, basis. The salary for this role is ÂŁ50,940 per annum which is inclusive of shift allowance.
