We're looking for a Transport Administrator to join our Customer Logistics team at The Ochils site in Blackford. This is a key operational role at the heart of our site, helping to coordinate vehicle movements, support transport planning and ensure everything runs smoothly day-to-day. What you'll be responsible for:
- Transport Coordination
- Book vehicles in and out of site using our transport management system
- Ensure vehicle availability aligns with production and loading plans
- Support transport planning for customer orders, including Tesco
- Site Operations & Safety
- Maintain safe and efficient vehicle flow across the site
- Ensure all transport activity meets health and safety standards
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics and hauliers to keep schedules on track
- Administration & Systems
- Keep transport systems up to date with accurate, real-time information
- Process customer orders and support fulfilment through coordination with teams
- Manage documentation, loading tickets and driver paperwork
- Communication & Support
- Act as a key point of contact for drivers, visitors and contractors
- Maintain clear communication with hauliers, warehouse and logistics teams
- Manage shared inbox activity and support out-of-hours site coordination
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
- Support wider logistics and warehouse operations as needed
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, confident and enjoys being part of a team that keeps things moving. You'll likely bring:
- Experience in a transport, logistics or administrative role (manufacturing environment desirable)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Good understanding of transport processes and health & safety
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Experience with systems such as Transporeon or Syteline would be an advantage, however, not essential
Working Pattern
This role operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern from 06:15 until 18:30. The salary on offer for this position is £30,681 per annum.
