Nestled in the beautiful Ochils of Perthshire and the Campsie’s of Lennoxtown, we provide healthy hydration to millions, while working to protect our natural resources and invest in a brighter, more sustainable future. Our people are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re strengthening our People team with forward-thinking professionals who can support our culture, champion employee wellbeing, and help us attract, retain, and develop the very best talent.

As an HR Advisor at Highland Spring, you’ll play a key role in supporting our people managers to deliver consistent, fair, and effective HR practices across the business. You’ll build trusted relationships with managers at all levels, offering expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters—from absence and performance to policy interpretation and development planning. You’ll contribute to the implementation of our People Plan by coaching managers, supporting the creation of tailored development plans, and helping ensure our people processes reflect both legal compliance and our company values. Working closely with the HR Operations team, you'll also ensure that our documentation, policies, and procedures are up to date and continually improving. This is a hands-on, varied role that will see you influence positive change, drive continuous improvement in our people practices, and help ensure Highland Spring remains a great place to work. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, offering flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.

What you can expect:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with line managers across the business, acting as a trusted HR partner
  • Provide proactive advice, coaching, and support to managers on the consistent application of key HR policies, including absence, disciplinary, and performance matters
  • Support the effective management of both short and long-term absence, including coordination of Occupational Health referrals
  • Assist with investigations and disciplinary procedures, ensuring a fair and compliant process
  • Contribute to a variety of HR-related projects that drive continuous improvement and support delivery of the People Plan

What we are looking for:

  • As an HR generalist, you must be able to hit the ground running so experience in a similar level role in a fast paced environment is essential.
  • You will be comfortable reacting to situations needing your support and be able to manage your own workload. You will be a strong communicator and be able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • We can offer a competitive salary and a range of excellent benefits including 34 days holiday (pro-rated), employer pension contributions up to 10% and a free health cash plan.
  • This role will be split between our Fells site in Lennoxtown, Glasgow and our Ochils site in Blackford, Perthshire so it is essential that you drive and have access to a car.
