Hours: Bank, as and when required

Salary: £25,694 - £27,900 per annum, pro-rata

Shift pattern: 12 hour shifts - Day (07.30-20.00), Night (19.30-08.00)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Reporting to the Senior Nurse, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Support the nursing and wider multi-disciplinary team, to provide excellent holistic, patient‑centred palliative care.
  • Be part of a highly skilled and driven team including nurses, doctors, physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social worker, Chaplain and volunteers.
  • Daily duties supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assisting with personal care, toileting, bathing, dressing and meals.
  • Working within a friendly, dynamic, positive and vibrant environment.
